Stowupland fish and chips in Mid Suffolk

Such a shame that the change in ownership has led to the decline of what used to be a gem of a fish and chip shop. The fish was dry and the chips were excessively greasy. No longer a destination worth travelling to. The best we can hope for is that it’s early days and they will heed feedback and work hard to turn this back into the best fish and chip shop for miles around.

We are new to the area and my Mrs has a deep love of chips so we have been back here several times.. The staff are friendly and the service is quick.. So far everything we have tried has been really very tasty..

My local fish and chip shop for as long as I can remember, very good portion sizes for the prices, the waiting time can be a bit long but that's due to high demand. I'm sure off peak times may be better.

I felt right at home the second I walked in. Like I had known them and been going there for years. We even had a little pop trivia quiz whilst I was waiting for my order, which was fun.It was clean and bright.The piece of Cod I had was massive, cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Everything was spot on.I highly recommend this outlet.
