Arrived during a busy Monday lunchtime service. 3 waiting staff waited silently and a male staff member met us at the bar. He was rude and disinterested. If someone ever needed a lesson in manners he certainly did.My partner suggested us eating outside as the staff were willing to turn us away as no inside tables were available.I placed an order at the bar and the food arrived within 15 minutes. The food cannot be faulted it was beautiful and the waitress who delivered it was polite and well mannered.

Very nice country pub with good sized car park. The staff were all very friendly and we were impressed by the service. We were a group of 4 and ordered a different meal.We were all very pleased with the quality of the meals and the portion size.We found the food to be more expensive than similar pubs/restaurants so that why we have given 4 stars.Just our opinion, the food and service were excellent and we will visit again.

Excellent home cooked traditional pub food at a high standard. I recommend the Steak and Ale pie and the Mac n cheese with pulled pork. Chips were awesome too! Was hoping to try The Norton Dog Banana Split for dessert but were so full. We’ll be back ❤️😋😋👌

Stopped on a whim for lunch. Glad we did. We hadn't booked in advance but they managed to squeeze us in. We both had the fish curry. It was the best curry I've tasted! Highly recommend to stop if you're passing by!

Lovely gf first course. My friends also enjoyed their sweets, unfortunately I had a very hard sticky toffee pudding which I couldn't eat. I was offered another one, but refused. The waitress didn't charge me, which I was very grateful

We recently came for a works meal and absolutely loved it. I'm always a little dubious about Christmas meals as usually even a great place to eat just doesn't live up to expectations with high demand. But wow. The food was up to its usual amazing standard and looked incredible. Portion sizes were fantastic and well worth the price paid. It looked beautiful , great food and a lovely atmosphere. I will note that as a vegetarian the main course option, although delicious was a bit lacking and I say this after trying so many amazing vegetarian and vegan options that they've done over the years. That personally for me risotto as the only option was a bit disappointing. That said, it was beautifully done and one of the best that I've had. Just I'd personally like a more festive option. We had a fabulous time. So thanks.

Happened upon this pub for a Monday lunch. An absolute delight! Great menu. Huge menu choice which is sometimes a worry but it didn’t disappoint. The squid tapas was perfectly cooked and the pork belly was probably the best I’ve tasted. Run by someone who really cares about their food. Efficient and quick service. All in all, faultless. Will definitely return if we are ever in the area again.

Pretty expensive even for me, a Lorry driver class 1.I have served small breakfast and a large latte >£10.00 total price. The place looks extraordinary inside and out, with back garden and VIP garden :)Plenty space to park 10 lorries overthere,Food taste was similar home made ( if you have a home :))) )
