The Four Horseshoes in Mid Suffolk

Used to visit this lovely pub very often for the best carvery you could find, have visited twice since covid, one time including christmas day, lovely day and very organised, but the food was just not good, since then we have come back to try the carvery since starting back up, absolute shambles, yorkshires we’re definitely not home made, they were like little cup cakes. The roast potatoes were tooth breakingly hard with little seasoning, stuffing was like cardboard and the selection of veg was minimal, that said the gamon was lovely, was a shame the pulled pork stopped also. I used to be happy paying the extra for the lovely food but never again, toby carvery next! I am not one to talk bad about a business but serious improvement needed.

Swift and friendly service, excellent quality food. We brought our 2 dogs and our cat (in his cat backpack) and the whole family were well taken care of. We'll be back. Highly recommended

Fabulous meal staff where so friendly and pub is dog friendly and he even got served his own plate of sliced chicken. Food and service was exceptional 👌

We stayed for one night, with our faithful dog. The staff were extremely welcoming, food and accommodation was excellent. A delightful place indeed.

The Four Horseshoes hosted a wake after a family funeral service, they provided food which was to a very high standard and at a reasonable price, a private area and were attentive to the guests - lots of parking too. Can't fault anything, thank you all.

Great find whilst out walking, we had taken sandwiches so just stopped for a drink and decided to treat ourselves with a plate of chips which were really well cooked. Staff friendly even when they had to bring chips to us outside in January. Will stop for lunch another time as menu and food looked really good.

Can not describe having a greater meal out for a very long time. Warm attentive service. Incredible food all wrapped up in a classic warm cosy country pub atmosphere. Can't wait to go again!

It’s such a shame as it’s a pretty pub. But took 1 hour for our food to arrive. Without being super critical, the food was incredibly bland no seasoning. Small potatoes and desert terribly flavourless. It’s a real shame, but an honest opinion food is really bad. The starters looked like frozen party food. Very sad that this place couldn’t do better. Staff nice

Met the lovely owners of this gorgeous place up in Liverpool. I’ve not been to the four horseshoes yet! But I definitely will be! Such beautiful wonderful owners and that is something you couldn’t put a price on! 100% genuine people with personality for dayssss. I highly recommend giving them a visit.
