The Good The Bad And The Hungry in Mid Suffolk

Set in the picturesque village of Wingfield Suffolk. Stunning countryside views whilst having breakfast. Excellent choice, very good quality products and quantity just right..presented nicely and efficiently..Staff very friendly without being intrusive. Seating inside and out with outside cover available. Set within an Equestrian Centre and plenty of walking opportunities. Dog friendly and plenty of car parking. Well worth traveling for Breakfast , would highly recommend a visit.

Used this place regularly for coffees when living local last winter. Biked there today and really nice to be there again. Very welcoming to cyclists,great staff and food, just as I remembered. Looking forward to being back in Suffolk more like full time next spring to enjoy this place 👌

Great little place tucked away in the countryside. Really nice breakfast menu, which was also very reasonably priced. Food was brilliant, with lots of flavour and service was friendly. Also nice to sit outside and see the horses and riders practicing on the surrounding grounds.

Lovely setting. Took the dogs who were made welcome. Great decaf coffee. Hubby enjoyed the Hungry Breakfast and I had the plant based veggie option but swapped the spinach for a couple of fried eggs. The tomatoes were hard and would've benefited from a bit more cooking and the baked beans were warm not hot, but we'll definitely be going back.

Christmas dinner review! We came here for our works Christmas dinner last year and it was fantastic! Everything was amazing. The food, drinks, decorations and service were all fabulous. We will definitely be coming back this year again :). I know my family (who live a bit closer), usually visit and they also say the normal menu is just as fantastic. Highly recommend.

Stunning surroundings, especially on a sunny day. We went for brunch and found they had many delicious vegan options (which is always a nice surprise in smaller villages). They do very good coffee too and are very dog friendly. Definitely recommend.

Nothing old world, but a nice place, part of a farm based complex way out in the country side, what you would expect from a goo ofd cafe, nothing special but all well done, and very friendly and helpfull. Difficult call, 4/5 star. Suffolk sets high hospitality standards.

Absolutely fantastic lunch, the food was the best I've had in a long time. Super friendly staff and a gorgeous rural peaceful location with plenty of parking so worth the drive out.

What a find, shame we were on our way home from hols but we'll definitely go again next time we're in the area. Great setting, fabulous food served by friendly staff. Rounded off our holiday very nicely.
