I stayed hear once before and the staff and room were excellent. I have just booked again and I am looking forward to the stay and the fantastic breakfast. The Restaurant manager a lovely lady was very highly trained. Nothing was a problem.

I booked in and was late to check in. Everything was ready the room was very clean and warm. Great value for money. The receptionist was most helpful I would definitely make this my favourite hotel in the surrounding are. I have stayed at all of them and this one has a very nice family feeling. They care about the guests which will always make the guest happy. Thank you all for a nice weekend. I Highly recommend this hotel.

Friendly staff even though there was a power cut they done well making us feel at home . Yes the Grange could do with a little TLC. But it's very peaceful set well off a minor road so no noise or light pollution nice change from a sterial informal travel lodge . See you in the summer ,bet the gardens will look great

On the first night it took the receptionist 40 minutes to let us in. There's also no hot water. Stopped there for 2 nights. Even travel lodge is better than this place

We love this place. It's secluded, old school, and smells like forest and pine. Really quaint country charm. The bar is adorable, and has board games to play. The staff are friendly and helpful. The junior suites are spacious with lounges and bedrooms, and have full length baths in the larger-than-most-hotel bathrooms. The rooms are warm, and clean. The hotel could use a little updating in terms of decor - it looks a little outdated aestheically, and there was no room service when we were there (possibly a covid restriction?), but for the prices and size of rooms, I cant fault the hotel in many other ways. You may want to bring some drinks for the evening - the hotel is quite secluded and there isn't a way to get drinks once the bar closes.Apart from that, it's great for a quiet weekend away. The beds are comfy, rooms are clean, linen is fresh, and the place has a lovely, secluded country feel. We've visited twice now, and will definitely be back! The room prices are fair too, and there is free WiFi. They even have toilet paper art! :pWe haven't tried the log cabins yet but they look fantastic!

Went for husband's 40th birthday and stayed in one of the cabins. We loved our stay, the house and views are beautiful, staff very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious.

I stayed here whilst working in the area. The proprietors were welcoming and accomodating. The room was big and very comfy. The food was incredible. I would plan to stay here again in the future.

Nice hotel. The staff we're very professional and well mannered. The rooms were clean and tidy and the shower areas were more than adequate.I would've given hotel five stars if the beds in the twin were a little bigger...even for single beds, they felt a little small especially positioned right against the walls in the cabins.Thank you.

A beautiful setting. Let down by our room not having hot water and toilet not flushing properly. Apart from that, room was great and beds very comfy. Breakfast was good, dinner was really good. The staff could be more helpful and friendly.

Stayed there for only one night but so pleased we did, the pics do not show the true state of the hotel. I left my wife early in the morning for my sons passing out parade and when she woke and tried to shower the power was off , so no shower, no cup of tea and no help from the staff, even had to ask for a drink and came back with a small class of orange. The room we had was only kitted out for a single and we booked a double, so if you are thinking of booking please think again, We wouldn’t stop there even if they offered everything for free NEVER
