Excellent re modelling of the interior, looking forward to newly installed kitchen being up and running

Ah nice pub to sit down and enjoy a drink at after after 4 mile walk. Staff were very friendly and the drinks were well priced. Would visit again.

A fabulous place to enjoy a drink with friends old and new, The Ivy House has gone from strength to strength since new management took over and we eagerly await the opening of the kitchen in early May 2022.

Fantastic job by the new landlord renovating the pub. Tasty local beers and a good wine selection. Very friendly and helpful staff give a warm welcome. Looking forward to the kitchen opening to sample the new menu

Popped to the Ivy house today with my dad who uses a wheel chair. We have never been less welcome. Having got dad from car to wheelchair we were stopped at the gate and told they were not serving food. We explained we only wanted a drink We were told it might be better to try elsewhere as they were closing at 2pm. It was only about 1.15. It was clear that whilst they are open they really don't actually want any customers. Don't worry, we won't be coming back.

First visit to New coffee shop and was not disappointed. Lovely building and garden with plenty of space. Good varied menu with something for everyone. Will definitely return

we came to the ivy house with no expectations. elgin and sue showed us great hospitality! they have a very beautiful garden and we were happy with our food and drink. my partner was very pleased with his lamb curry!! xx
