The Royal Oak, Laxfield in Mid Suffolk

Warm welcome. Decent ales on tap as well as fairly priced food. Nice outdoor seating adjacent to church.

Lovely welcoming pub in the centre of Laxfield village. Plenty of room with a lovely fireplace, staff were very nice and the food was great. A selection of beers on offer. Definitely worth a visit.

The food is excellent, only pub open in this area. I'll be back tomorrow for steak night.Yum

Met up with friends for coffee during Laxfield Community Market (1st Sat of month) and decided to have brunch. The full English was great value and delicious as used high quality ingredients, especially the sausages. Coffee was great too, definitely recommend.

Great food and a very friendly welcome. Warm cosy fire and a pool table for those who wish to play.

Lovely place to stop to have a drink or something to eat. We decided to do both with some friends that were visiting us. We each had something different to eat and we all cleared our plates. You could decide if you wanted to eat in or outside at the front that was under cover. Staff were friendly and polite.

Love this pub. It has a lot of charm and a buzzy atmosphere. Staff are really friendly and accommodating. Had a lovely roast dinner here, you could tell it was freshly cooked and also had one of the best deserts I've had in a long while. They also do a take away service for you from the menu and we have had some lovely meals from this too.

Lovely pub, sat outside after a very wet walk; but the barmaid (from Essex) and the other staff were absolutely lovely and so welcoming. Super local pint, and memories from childhood holidays in Laxfield. Def recommend this pub.
