The Six Bells in Mid Suffolk

The beer is expensive and was flat, the bartender was playing videos on her phone at a high volume. It changes hands often and I have not ever had a pleasant experience! I would stay away.

Friendly staff, dog friendly good beer and food all in a lovely old pub

Under new ownership so feeling their feet. Friendly atmosphere, food looked enriching but found veg not cooked enough for me.

Friendly landlady staff and locals, with a good selection of ales, fizz and wine... decent food

Called in for a pint (ok, two) during a hike in the area, and was warmly welcomed. I'm sure I'll be back before too long.

The ambience is pleasant. The rooms are homely but the service for our pre-ordered meal was not great. Expecting a meal at 7:30pm but not to get starters until over an hour later and the main course, 2 hours later meant a lot of hungry and annoyed people.A shame because the food was fine when it came. No apology or explanation for the obvious delay.

Booked the Six Bells for 21 people for our 30th wedding Anniversary meal and had our own room laid out with table decorations and even a card from the proprietors and staff. Great food, great service from excellent and friendly staff who couldn't have done more for us. Highly recommended! Thank You from the Mackintosh Family.

Fabulous pub. Warm welcome. Great home cooked food. Lovely selection of beers/wines. Oh and dog friendly too - what more could you want. 5***** highly recommended.

Fantastic traditional 'real' pub. Real ales, beautifully kept & under £3 a pint. Very friendly. No food served in evenings, but sandwiches at lunchtimes for just £1. Yes! My current favourite pub in UK. Heartily recommended!
