Had a wonderful evening with family in the cosy setting of this character pub in the centre of an attractive village. The log fire on this cold December evening was much appreciated. Very welcoming staff were attentive to our needs Specials were on offer besides the regular menu. Everything seemed cooked to order and was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic food! Clean plates all around. We went on a quiet night and the chef made the effort to come out and thanks us all for coming and waved us goodbye. I had the best fish pie I ever had in my life tonight and would definitely recommend it to anyone considering going.

We only had some drinks and pudding, the man behind the bar was so friendly and welcoming. Really lovely atmosphere!

We had an excellent Sunday lunch with a great choice of beers and wines. The Swan had a real cosy feel to it with a lovely open fire and attentive staff who made us feel very welcome. Pricing was keen so all in all an excellent experience.

A real Suffolk gem. Outstanding food and warm welcome. Interesting and varied menu. On various visits have had exceptional Ramen, Ruben sandwich, vegetarian slow pulled pork (I am a meat lover and I would not have guessed). Highly recommend.

Very nicely presented, staff very friendly but the food wasn’t good. Tough rubbery chicken with some Nando’s peri peri sauce chucked over it and some coleslaw from Tesco for 15 quid, not good. Though the Irish coffee was really nice, that was the only good thing about the meal.

Excellent family meal, beautifully cooked main course, great desserts (inc jam roly poly! Yum), very nice wine, welcoming service.

Always great food and very welcoming. They don't want to stay open too late but even a short evening is a worthwhile winters evening by the fire with a pint!

Not welcoming unless you are eating, and hence willing to pay the high prices. This used to be a friendly PUBLIC HOUSE, now it is an unfriendly restaurant. More for the owners' ego than for the locals or the customers which is very disappointing for a service industry.

Just been for lunch there on a Wednesday. Wasn't very busy so atmosphere was slightly quiet; could also do with a lick of paint, though its far from tatty. The food was absolutely excellent, and the manager/landlord very friendly & helpful.
