The Walnut Tree in Mid Suffolk

I like my meat now and again, so I was a little dubious about the whole veggie/vegan restaurant idea. I was really impressed with the outcome, the food was amazing, I certainly have some meal ideas now!The staff were friendly and polite, there is no rush and the their dessert menu was amazing - we loved the salted caramel chocolate cake, that was out of this world. I would recommend this place, it's so under rated.

Food was excellent, service was excellent, my only criticism is too many plastic screens between tables felt a bit squeezed in a corner, staff were friendly and polite and helpful so overall 4 and 1/2 star's

Fantastic vege/vegan food, in a lovely pub with great staff and well priced! Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and will be back! The Walnut Tree is a lovely, welcoming place with plenty of choice and importantly, the food is brilliant! Thank you!

Had a great evening. The place is welcoming with lovely friendly staff and the food is delicious - the perfect example of how good vegetarian meals can be! Even the meat eaters in my family all enjoyed the food and will be back!

Food was amazing! Thai Penang curry was so flavoursome and the best I’ve tasted since going to Thailand 7 years ago and that includes going to some Thai restaurants! The dessert was to die for - highly recommended and can’t wait to go again!!

A very impressive place with nourishing food and good portions too. The bread and butter pudding was to die for but other members of my family enjoyed the food too. Comes highly recommended.

Great food really and great service. We had the gyoza, camembert and crispy tofu for starter - all well done. For main we had the mushroom Wellington which looks like the speciality - beautiful. This place is perfect for vegetarians and vegans well worth any trip!

Have been meaning to try the Walnut Tree for years and glad we finally did. Such great flavours from the dishes, it was a real treat.
