Popped in the other evening whilst waiting for fish and chips across the road first time we have been to this pub the lady behind the bar was very friendly had a lovely pint of beers so will definitely visit again

Popped in for a beer betwen patientsNever had a problem paying with a card bef NOW all of a sudden theres a surchargevfor under £ 10I didnt see a sign re this but thank u at £4.50 a Carlsberg ill take my drinking somewhere else .Im not even sure A credit car min can be imposed as it goes against the merchant contractWont be going backThere is no minimum card payment law, which means that there’s nothing stopping businesses from setting a minimum spending limit. However, there are rules set out by card networks which state that any merchant accepting their cards cannot set a maximum or minimum limit. Setting a minimum spend on card payments is a violation of these rules and can result in a hefty fee or account suspension.

We were visiting our son for theme first timec his new house and called in the woolpack for a quick pint. This is a delightful pub with a lovely atmosphere and friendly publican

Lovely atmosphere and helpful staff. Didn't eat here as the kitchen was closed when we visited but the menu looks good for when it is open.

Nice pub and the only pub in debenham. Nice selection of beer but no food at weekends. Weekday menu looked very appetising so worth a try if you are in the area.

Great example of how a pub should be run during a global pandemic. Everything wiped down after use. Hand sanitizing stations dotted around and hand pumps on every table. Perspex across the bar too. Staff are friendly and welcoming on entry. Has a lovely courtyard out the back for a drink in the sun. Recommend highly is passing by!

Fabulous local with amazingly attentive and freindly staff! Also great pub garden.
