Trawlers Catch in Mid Suffolk

Worst place I’ve ever been to fish was swimming in grease no taste took 35 mins to cook 4 cod and chips never go there unless you want to waste money.

Parking outside door, good fish cooked to order, other options available other than traditional, reasonable prices. Kebab etc also available.

Best fish and chips in Suffolk 10 out of 10.

Visited today. Not impressed at all! Arrived and no card payments. No problem! Pop over to grab cash from over the road. In the process of ordering and a lady from behind counter tells my partner to wait outside, didn’t ask politely, just shouted to go wait outside. I didn’t bother placing an order. Just rude. Customer service could do with significant improvement. I won’t be back! I was trying again for first time after a disappointing meal last year.

First visit to The Trawlers Catch after living in the area for nearly 7 Years and will definitely be getting my Cod and Chips from here in the future. Great portions (not too much, not too little). Friendly Staff. Freshly prepared.

This place used to be our absolute go to stop for fish and chips but since they shut down and reopened something has changed. There seems to be no order to how you're served. Customer's arriving after others got their huge orders first while people waiting for simple portion of chips having to wait 50mins plus. This place needs to get more organised I think, covid can't be blamed as it's been over a year now.Gave 2 stars as the chips and fish are good but I'm sorry waiting 50 mins for them just doesn't justify it.Please get back to your old ways!

I’m a regular customer and the food is always good quality, well cooked and tastes fresh. Staff at the front always do their best, even when busy. Even more difficult in current times with all the restrictions, but they always try to keep their customers happy. Would definitely recommend x

Most of the time food and service is fine etc, but it takes that one time for them to really mess up. Make sure you check your order with them when you pick it up, otherwise you have to go back to them to fix things. As we are not exactly local it was a hassle to drive back. I just wish they pay more attention also they do not give out receipts. P.S the owner was nice and apologized, and I appreciate that but it was not his mistake to start with.

Delicious chips, kababs and battered sausage, the service is great and friendly and the whole place is spotless. Due to adhering strictly to current regulations you may have to wait when it's busy but you can ring ahead your order and any wait is well worth it 😋
