Woolpit fish and chip shop in Mid Suffolk

So slow!! I tried calling before I went there, but no answer. I ordered on arrival, no warning of a wait time. I waited for almost an hour for our food, and it was only 2 battered sausages, a burger and a portion of chips. Thankfully it tasted alright!

Known for having super slow service at peak times but everything is cooked to order. Great chips every time and very lovely people

It does what it says on the tin. Not the best fish & chips that I've had, but not the worst either.

Freshest, tastiest fish and chips in the area. Never disappointed in the quality, speed of service, pricing or taste. Have become a regular!

After my order was taken I was informed that it was cash only and that our fish and chips would be 20 minutes. I returned for my food, which was already wrapped. I wasn't given a choice of soft drink and was passed coke.My food was awful, the chips were the worst I have had. When you pay £19.40 for fish and chips, I expect them to be outstanding. I definitely won't be going back.

A long wait but definitely worth it. Everything cooked to order so is very fresh. No hard fish that has been sitting around for ages. Excellent service.

I think they do the best fish and chips I'm the area. However, the service can be a bit chaotic as they often put telephone orders into the pan when you arrive to pick it up.But polite staff, reasonable price

Lovely fish and chips cooked to order so you now it's fresh. When the weather's nice there are some benches opposite. You can enjoy your food in comfort there's even a bin for the rubbish.

Fish was very good but they would do better if they scooked more than one meal at a time. Given the pick up time of 7.10 and eventually got the food at 7.25.

Well-ccoked and tasty. A bit of a wait (35 minutes from order to carrying it awayl) BUT everything was cooked fresh to order and my visit was at 7.20 on a Friday night! Worth the wait.
