Wortham Teashop in Mid Suffolk

Checked opening times on web and it said open until 4pm. Arrived at 2:45pm and found we’d missed last orders. Very disappointing. Web should reflect reality.

Loverly polite staff they are happy to help, portion sizes are very god value for money!! Would highly recommend!!

a lovely little village shop .with a very good selectionof meals to choose from .the Ploughmans .ect but love the .Ham egg chips.( best ham I've ever tasted)

Friendly service and tasty sandwiches and toasted. Quality bacon accompanied by crisps and a garnish all for under £6. Couldn’t resist choosing from the wide range of cakes. Will return for sure.

Such a lovely little place with friendly staff and a beautiful garden! Had a very nice veggie breakfast this morning. The sandwiches and cakes are also very nice. Easy to park as well. Recommend this little tea shop if you’re in the area :)

Excellent breakfast and the most delicious Victoria Sponge cake! I had a fantastic morning there and would definitely go back.

Came in Saturday 17th June around 12pm, with my parents and my son, we were greeted very nicely by a lovely young lady, (sorry I didnt take your name), she gave us the menus, showed us the specials board, and took our drinks order, a little bit later she came and took our food order, my son had the Ham, Egg and Chips and my parents and I had the Tea Shop Breakfast. The food is cooked to order using some/all local ingredients, and all the usual condiments are offered. We chose to sit in the conservatory which in hindsight was a slight mistake on our part as it was so very hot, although my mum loved it because she is weird like that. The bill was very reasonable, I think £32 for four of us including drinks, the service was excellent and our server was lovely, the seating is comfortable, and the menu extensive. They do take bookings, which is probably advisable as I am informed that it can get busy in the week. it was pretty quiet when we visited. It is my understanding that the breakfast is served until 1230pm, so if you fancy that, arrive in good time. overall an excellent place to eat, with a great menu, lovely friendly staff, and more importantly delicious food. Small, friendly tea Room serving, breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Excellent food, reasonably priced. Very good home made cake.
