Alloro in North Hertfordshire

Best italian food that I’ve tried since I’m in England .Great atmosphere, delicious food, excellent service, friendly staff members.

Excellent service. Amazing food and drink. Great atmosphere. Good music. Brilliant and fun staff and easy to talk to. No pressure or rushing you to get a move on. We loved it and this is the third time we have been.

Beautiful food and first class service,had family meal to celebrate my mum's birthday, all the family had a great time, lovely atmosphere and attentive staff, going to try the take away service soon

My husband and I paid a second visit to Alloro. We were not disappointed in any way. We had a superb pasta dish with beef strips and the black garlic was amazing. If we lived in the area we certainly would frequent Alloro Restaurant but unfortunately we were visiting the area. The service, atmosphere and surroundings were just perfect. Thank you Alloro, we will be back.

I had the BEST grilled prawns, which cam eon a beutiful bed if salad and spaghetti alla marinara (seafood). Everything perfectly cooked and beautifully executed. I couldn't give the 5th star becauee my husband ordered a pizza quattro stagioni, which in Italy comes standard with artichokes, mushrooms, ham and olives but here was with pepporoni (AKA spicy salame), pancetta cubes (or something similar), mushrooms and red onion. A bit random. It was my husband's fault not checking the ingredients but definitely that wasn't a quattro stagioni ;-) otherwise the pizza base was what a call good neutral standard Italian pizza: not too thin, not too thick so would keep both schools of thought happy :-).Staff was very friendly, we will definitely go back again.

Had the tiger prawn starter was very good.Was disappointed that the veal was off the menu but the second choice of lamb shank was excellent. Meat was cooked to perfection, lovely and tender and just fell off the bone.Service was also excellent so all round a great experience.Will defo be back

I'm fully Italian and I've had my fair share of amazing Italian food in italy and my family members. Usually Italian restaurants all taste the same.I ordered the tagliatelle alla gorgonzola and it was incredible. It was so tasty!! I am so impressed! Ill be raving about this place to my parents!

Nice atmosphere and great customer service. Servings were plenty and served hot. Authentic Italian and a bit more pricey than other chain restaurants but worth the money!
