Best fish and chip shop I've been to. We live in Letchworth and none of the chip ships in Letchworth are as good as Baldock Fish Bar.

The chips were lovely and crisp on the outside and fluffy in, fish was hot and moist inside and crunchy batter

Got cod and chips for my partner and he really enjoyed his meal. Would get fish and chips from here again 👍🏽

I have a medical exemption so I can not wear face covering , I made the staff aware and provided proof and they publicly embarrassed me and made me feel awful and ironically the staff didn't even have face coverings on.Discussing behaviour.Not sure how the food is as I was too intimidated by the staff to stay.If you have a disability or exemption do not visit this place as they discriminate ,there is a much nicer fish and chip shop down the road where everyone is welcome and treated the same.

Against the backdrop of the many 5 star reviews I'm afraid I found it to be very average. Chips were soggy and the chicken (for me anyway) was over cooked and tough.

Excellent food, excellent service. Use constantly.Highly recommended. Easy parking.

Fish is great in a light crispy batter, but a little on the small side. The chips are of a good size portion but but soggy. Overall great value and cooked to order so piping hot.
