Bosphorus in North Hertfordshire

Worst restaurant service I have ever experienced and I have been to restaurants in over 50 countries. Order was over an hour late and in the end I had to collect it. They did not even bother to call me, I had to ring them several times. Paid both service and delivery fees and neither received a delivery nor any kind of service. Spoiled our Father's Day meal and they didn't even care. Deliveroo told me to contact them for compensation but they are blaming it on a 'system malfunction'. Do not eat from here, there are hundreds of other places to get food locally and ones that actually provide the service too. I would have given 0 stars if Google allowed me to

Unfortunately can only give 1 star ,chicken shish was raw ,lamb fillet which cost £19 was a cheap price of lamb with no flavour could hardly cut it ..hummus had no flavour at all ...the only thing that was o k was the bread ,will definitely not be returning .

There is no where more consistent and tasty! Fully recommended!

Myself and a colleague ate here for our evening meal whilst working away in Hitchin.We had passed the place the night before and what made me notice it was the smell coming out of the door! It was amazing! We had decided elsewhere for the night before so decided to go to Bosphorus the 2nd night.The drinks we thought were expensive in general. Not just alcohol. We both got tap water.We decided on a £50 sharing platter. We were not disappointed. I couldn't manage a desert, and I ALWAYS have desert. That's how much food you get!It was all delicious. I love Turkish food and this was just amazing.The service was good though it took a little time to get the bill even though it wasn't busy.Would definitely return.

Wonderful lunch with a friend. Delicious food, terrific service, great value for money. Will definitely ready there again.

WAS PHYSICALLY ATTACKED BY STAFF!!! My wife and myself were threatened and pushed by members of staff after questioning why we were charged for extra sauce which we have never been charged for before! RUDE AND AGGRESSIVE PEOPLE! DO NOT EAT HERE! All of this in front of my 2 children as well! You are lucky my children were with me at the time! How can a man push a woman?!!! Absolute joke of a business! Food was undercooked and bread was rock hard! Plates, glasses and table were dirty as well! Would not recommend going with your family!!!

Tasty and plenty of food, good stuff(nice ladies)..I enjoy everytime I am going in this restaurant.And beautiful environment ❤️..

Superb restaurant. Excellent quality food. Large portions. Very reasonable price. Friendly service. Turkish wines also lovely. What's not to like?

Whenever I visit Hitchin I always look forward to eating at this Restaurant. The food is incredible! Huge portions but so delicious! They have a fantastic menu with so much variety and the food is packed with flavour.
