Spent a lovely afternoon at Bury Lane Farm, picking strawberries. A short trip away from Cambridge, by train and about a mile from Meldreth train station, the farm is easily accessible. The strawberry picking (PYO) was super fun, and have never had strawberries sweeter than these! The coffee in the cafe and other delicatessen available to buy in the shop were very good, and their friendly staff rounded up an enjoyable Sunday afternoon!

I can't speak highly enough of Bury Lane Farm Shop. I've been going there for years, but especially so since COVID, because they have been so careful to create a safe environment (it's clear a lot of thought has been put into this). Meat, fish and veg are all excellent, and there's a wide array of specialist produce and a very good deli counter. Admittedly, it's not the cheapest place to shop, and you have to be careful (if you need to be) not to come away with too many 'extra treats', but the quality makes the prices good value. Also important is how lovely, kind and helpful the staff are - especially Jaz, who is an absolute star - and the fact that on weekdays at least (when I tend to go) there are no queues at the tills.

Great farm shop with a good variety of meat, veg, baked goods etc. Quite a good amount of local goods too. A little expensive however. Lord of free parking. We also got some peonies from the pick your own peonies outside. £11 for 10 stems. Looking forward to picking strawberries next time!

Bury Lane farm is fabulous , so many lovely things to buy as gifts ,cards ,table napkins ,huge selection.Really good cafe and nice staff .However like so many of the wonderful garden centres just too many screaming loud children ..not their fault but spoils a peaceful meal . Children s room would be good like BA executive lounges .

First time visiting this establishment, fantastic place, high quality fruit and vegetables along proper butchers. We also sampled the café which was very good with swift and friendly service. Will visit again as much more to see and enjoy... highly recommended

Half term Daddy day lunch with the kids. Lovely food and great service even though they were short staffed that day (sign posted as we entered). Farm shop was very well stocked with quality items too.

Like most garden centers, it is a pleasant place to browse through galore of items to offer fir Christmas. This place is full of those things that you do not need but you want to buy anyway.. and they're not cheap!

Accidentally visited the farm shop while I was driving to Cambridge and well worth it.Location: Nice location and plenty of space for parking. It's a very large, spacious indoor dining area.Staff: I would say good but need to be a little more energetic.Food: I had the full breakfast, simply wow! Quality food. I think they grow their own vegetables, make their own bread. Portion sizes are very good for what you pay. One more thing, Pork sausages are amazing. Now I am your regular customer when I am driving to Cambridge. Keep up the good work.Highly recommend it to anyone.

Easy access & good parking. The staff were very helpful and the Christmas shop is open already (October)Lots of variety and a good selection of fresh and frozen produce as well as gifts and of course plants. A nice place to visit.
