Chick King Fish And Chips in North Hertfordshire

Not the best fish and chips I have tried .The fish was very greasy and the chips wasn't exactly plentiful and uncooked .

Kebabs are bland. Very little sauce. Chicken over cooked and unseasoned. Prices are expensive for quality and quantity. Salad tastes weird.Chips are ok. Been using for a long time but with price increases versus the poor quality won’t be anymore.

I come out of the coop next door to the kingfish I saw 2 of the kingfish delivery drivers beating up the poor guy trying to make his delivery to the coop on Monday evening it was shocking the owner of the kingfish thought it was funny the place should be closed down having staff like that working for them what is harpendon coming to

Got a veggie burger which was quite nice.Not sure what but something I just wasent keen on with the chips. Good portion sizes.

Cheerful friendly folk with very good chips and the usual accompaniments, like sausages, fish, burgers, press, etc.

Bangin' chips, very flavoursome compared with other chippy's. Portion could have been bigger but certainly nothing to grumble about as taste made up for it. Friendly staff, reasonable prices. Would certainly use again if passing through the area ;)

Last 3 orders have all had items missing and food has been dry and chips disgusting- black and green. No attempt to refund or send items on next order. Such a shame as used to really rate this chip shop.

Absolutely delicious fish and chips! Just finished our meal and not a scrap left over. Crispy batter and tasty chips, flavourful cod and perfect portion sizes (three small cod and one medium chips between a teenager and two adults) - just what we needed after a busy day. Delivered to the door, the wait time was accurate and service with a smile!We'll definitely be back for more!
