Costa Coffee in North Hertfordshire

Lovely iced coffee sitting outside in the sun 10/10

Whenever i go to Hitchin and if not to busy I like to pop into Costa for a flat white and sometimes a pastry. They still make best flat white I asked for extra hot and frothy it was. Even when very busy staff have always been polite I cannot fault the customer service so thank you guys see you very soon👍🙂

Staff apart from one . Were not exactly friendly a couple seem to think they were doing you a favour. Won't use this costa again .

Nice coffee, however sometimes even if it’s not busy tables are not cleaned for new guests.

I'm physically disabled as well as autistic, I was in hitchin alone waiting for my bus at stop D after just coming out of puregym.I have a disability which affects my bladder so I went into Costa and politely asked if I could use the toilet ( I have a 'just can't wait' card which is a government recognised scheme) I was told I was not allowed to use the bathroom unless I could prove I was disabled. Now I know they're not allowed to ask me that so I made my feelings known all whilst still keeping calm. I was then told I needed to buy something or walk to sainsburys which I explained I cannot do because of my disabilities and I was not about to give them my money after this horrible experience. At this point they had embarrassed me in front of the entire shop so I went to leave. Told them I would be reporting them to trading standards and then they suddenly changed their tune and told me I could use the bathroom. By that point my bus was about to leave so I left and luckily was able to make it home before an accident occurred, I will not be back.

The friendliest staff who always put a smile on my face in the mornings, coffee is always brilliant quality and the pastries & cakes are fab! A big thank you to all of the staff for their amazing customer service even during their busy periods as my orders are always ready in a flash and served with a smile :) The team deserve more praise than they receive from these reviews!

Nice atmosphere. Relaxing.I uploaded the Costa app but I deleted it because there was no option for an English phone number. The options are in Arabic countries 🤔

Horrible and rude woman , who makes horrible caffe ! Shame I can’t put photo of caffe ! Half of froth and just a bit of caffe ! Suppose to be cappuccino no babycino 😡

Even giving 1 star is to good for this place.The service Is dreadful, I'm sure customers didn't appreciate being shouted at by the very rude staff on Christmas eve. Think you need to sort your customer service out. Its a disgrace. I for one won't be returning
