Where is Emilys Tea Shop?

🏠 The Valley, Whitwell, Hitchin SG4 8AF

"We are a family run Teashop serving mainly drinks and homemade cakes, cream teas and giant toasted teacakes. We welcome walkers, cyclists, dog walkers and anyone else who just wants to get away from it all for a while. Please do not park in The Valley as this is difficult for our neighbours. Please walk or cycle or park at the top of the stables accessed via the track off the B651 Hitchin Road."

Great T-shop. Always nice cakes, tea and coffee.

Nice to have a break in the warm barn during a chilly off road ride on Sunday. Warm crumpets, a lovely pot of tea and some very moist apple and cinnamon cake helped a lot!

We had a Mothers day afternoon tea at Emilys today, the food was lovely and the staff were amazing. Thank you so much for making our day extra special.

A cute little tea shop with plenty to offer. If your driving in from B651 (hand painted sign with arrow)make sure to park closer to paddock where circular drive is. Don't drive through barn area. The signage wasn't the clearest. Worth the stop! Great for cyclists and dog walkers.

Top cakes and coffee, our cycling group are always well looked after. Nice and warm in winter as well. Much needed on those wet/cold rides👌😁

Such a cute little cafe well hidden away. The cake looked so scrummy I couldn't pick what to have so I picked 3!! All tasted amazing. It was very popular especially with cyclists. I will be back again

Lovely village cafe, great coffee and cake. Handy little bike shop there too!

·

Great little tea house with a good selection of cakes, coffee and tea. All set up for passing cyclists and horse riders in need of a pit stop and some refreshments mid activity. Would highly recommend.

What a great find in a lovely village! The staff are very polite, friendly and welcoming. I went with a friend for lunch and cakes - both were delicious and came quickly. I'd recommend the gingerbread cake if it's there when you visit. Even more special was the super cute secret garden that we found tucked away. Can't wait to visit again soon!

For anyone, but on a sunny day this café is ideal for any cyclist in the area. All day menu with scones, crumpets, tea and coffee, cold drinks. Pleasant staff, peaceful garden with plenty of seating.
