Fantastic fish and chip, friendly service, No cheap, but very tasty.

Update May 22. Going to add 2 stars to this review as a couple of more recent experiences were much better with decent portion size. Food was well cooked as always. Will update again if anything changesWe have been getting fish and chips here for 8 years. It once went down hill then improved again. Sadly today it's doing the same again. The chicken and fish was excellent always but look at the picture. Do you seriously think this is value for a £2.65 portion of chips? Sad really as this is the cheapest part of the dish and a larger portion should be used to entice people back. Sort it out Fishnchichn!!

Ordered fish and chips, £20 in total, arrived after 50mins and everything was slightly undercooked! Overpriced and underwhelming.Would never order again.

Small portions and expensive - £2.85 for just chips! They were very nice though.

Fish was a little over cooked especially the tail part, very hard. Chips had lots of black in them and had to throw quite a few away

Not as good as it use to be. Portions of chips very small for the price. Georges far superior by far. Portion of curry sauce £2.40 for a very small container having a laugh. I will try and keep away from this place now was just convenient to stop and park. Nice time Georges for me. 👍

We use the "click and collect" service fairly regularly and it is very efficient, easy to use and the food has be ready to collect on time every time. The odd time we've ordered something they don't have - like a "large" cod, they do a sensible substitution like two small ones. We general stick to fairly "main" part of menu - fish, sausages etc - and always well cooked, fresh and not too greasy. As others have said, some other places do larger portions for the money but the quality is good, the service efficient and quantity is always enough for any of our family members - so we are very happy customers.

Lovely cod and chips very tasty treat and it was a great price £4.99.You won't be disappointed, very clean and friendly staff.I haven't tried the chicken yet but will be returning to try some.
