It is disappointing for me to write this review as I have had many lovely meals and events here. However in November 2021 I contacted them re Christmas booking 2022 as I need to book for 14 people and this is always an issue. I was advised I was added to the list and will be contacted as soon as information is released, I wasn’t contacted but called myself a few weeks ago only to be advised that they are fully booked, after several emails back and forth I had a call with them only to be advised they are fully booked with repeat bookers not that they have confirmed they are attend but if anything comes up they will let me know. Really bad service in my opinion, if you had a least advised me this was the case on my original call I would have looked elsewhere now again I am limited as places are already booked. Lack of consideration and customer service on my view

As a wedding photographer, I visit a lot of wedding venues and The Barns at Redcoats is second to none in every way. I recently was lucky enough to spend a weekend photographing two weddings in a row there, and it genuinely was a pleasure. The staff are incredibly professional, in particular Charlie and Charlotte who looked after my couples that weekend. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they catered to every need that my couples and I had, and did all of that with a genuine smile on their faces. This goes for everyone, from the co-ordinators to the bar staff. The grounds are beautiful for couple portraits, and the decor inside is elegant and perfectly designed for the venue. Plus the food is delicious! When talking to my clients, they were incredibly complimentary about the venue and the staff. I most definitely would and have recommended this venue to couples looking for a barn venue, it is a beautiful wedding venue and I always look forward to returning. Hopefully it won't be too long until I'm back!

Dinner for 6 on a Saturday , having booked,Warm welcome and settled in Bar for pre-dinner drinks. Good selection of Wines, Spirits and Beers. Given menus as we sat and chatted. Food order taken in Bar and soon after taken to Table.Food is of a very high standard and well presented.Service is warm, friendly and professional without being overbearing.Sometimes you don't get what you pay for, but you certainly do here. Will return

A wonderful location, with wonderful gardens and super dining area. Very welcoming and on the ball staff... Friendly and efficient. The food was generally excellent, nicely presented with generous portions, with imaginative menu selection. I ordered baby squid with aioli and chillies. The squid was standard size, not baby, the chillies had been deseeded, so weren't hot at all, and the aioli was pretty bland. My sea bream, though cooked nicely, was over seasoned with salt.Nothing else could be faulted and my two companions thoroughly enjoyed their meal. I do recommend Redcoats, it's a great dining experience, just those few niggles for myself though.

Booked the Mother’s Day 3 course meal. Booking & any issues before hand were politely & professionally handled by Charlie, her customer service was excellent. The barn is a lovely venue, it was fully booked but plenty of space between tables & a nice burble of noise between all parties without being overpowering. The food was good, certainly no scrimping on portion sizes & it was a shame to see some of the roast potatoes waste. The staff were friendly & attentive without being overpowering. Nice spacing between courses. All in all, a nice experience, nice atmosphere, lots of happy faces & we would go back again.

5 stars do this venue an injustice! It deserves 10! Fantastic food, amazing service from the friendly, professional staff. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the bed was soooo comfortable!A truly beautiful venue for our conference! Thank you!

Had an incredible lunch at the Farmhouse. The food brought genuine smiles to our faces, their sauces alone were rich and full of flavour! The staff were really friendly and helpful to the extent they helped us celebrate a birthday with some complimentary treats. Decor was rustic yet modern with really nice country setting. Highly recommend!

Lovely lunch service. We ate in the newly refurbished orangery as a table of six. The starters for both the adults and children were great (cheese mini doughnuts and the king prawns on the grill and the avocado dip went down a treat for the kids!) and there was a good choice for mains; the burger was really good quality and the fries were a delight! As we had birthday cake waiting for us at home we didn't try the deserts but we will definitely be back. The staff service is very good, attentive without being overbearing.Well worth it for a meal, can't comment on the hotel but it does look lovely.
