The portions were huge. Fish was excellent but too many chips. If we go again we'd have a large portion between the two of us

Huge portions, good taste, great deal!

Overall not a very nice dinner, even the dogs weren't that impressed, had to buy another dinner.Overcooked sausage in soggy batter,Undercooked chips,Asked for salt and vinegar.... Discovered no salt and vinegar.I asked for standard size chips, gave me large.Cheap prices though, I guess you get what you pay for.

First time experience at this chip shop- no complaints! Shop was clean, food was fresh, prices were reasonable, portions were generous, great range and the bearded fella serving couldn't be nicer. Family was happy with food so I'll definitely revisit.

Was recommended by Sam Godden, tried it coz our other shop dropped their quality.Was pleasantly impressed, good portion sizes and good taste. Visited George's for the first time. Friendly, welcoming staff, tasty fish cooked freshly, really nice chips. Will definitely be back. Best chippy in Royston

My husband went in for the first time and said the service was amazing and new owners are very friendly. The food was really good, fresh chips and the ribs were big and saucy!! Would highly recommend.
