Hitchin best kebab in North Hertfordshire

BEST FOOD IN Hitchin. I have been eating at Hitchin best Kebab from last 18 years and love there food. I never had any complaint from them. Best customer service as well. Thanks

Portion sizes pathetic - paid for 2 large kebabs and both had only 3 tiny pieces of meat in them. Chips also very stingy. Disappointed and feel that the value for money is awful.

Your typical takaway lovely chilli sauce tasty chicken but fries could have been slight better and tasted good

Took almost two hours to arrive. Driver couldn't follow simple instructions/couldn't be bothered to drive down my road. Mediocre food. Don't bother ordering from these guys

Positive - presentation, salad, sauces packaged separately.Negatives - small portion sizes (XL was definitely a medium), quality of meat was poor, food arrived lukewarm.There are plenty of other kebab shops around the area that are certainly better than 'Hitchin best kebab'. I'm from north London and know what a quality kebab looks and tastes like. Avoid this establishment.

My daughter ordered at 5.50pm for 8pm delivery, as I was travelling back from Buckinghamshire after sorting out my late mother's funeral so was in no mood to cook. By 8.15pm it had not arrived but on the just eat app it was notifying my daughter it had been delivered so she phoned to be told that it was currently being made as they were wait for drivers to return to collect before making also it was busy and hitchin was flooded.....well I drove through there 20 min before and encountered no floods, well it finally arrived after 8.30 , I had ordered a vegetable kebab ny daughter a donner and they hadn't even cut the pittas and filled them the filling was chucked on top ( I have used them before so know the filling is usually inside) so resulting in a soggy pitta that wouldn't hold the filling...the idea of a takeaway very often is to save on washing up , well this is the 1st time I have eaten a kebab on a plate with a knife and fork. Very disappointed and also with how the manager spoke to my daughter.

Freezing cold and extremely salty doner meat and small portion. Handful of chips for £1.60 that were hard and also cold. Chicken was dry but yet very greasy at the same time?? First time ordering and never will again! Definitely not best kebab more like worst kebab. Avoid;

Went into the so called best kebab in hitchin? Asked for doner wait 10 mins for it the salad was poor not fresh and after waiting 10 mins you would think the meat would be hot but No !!! Stone cold got to be the worst kebab ever! If this is meant to be hitchin best I would dread to think what the others are? They couldn't even get the order right ?
