Decent cafe, good food and service. Good service.

Been here twice now and both have been underwhelming. Good service but the food always dry.

Nice cafe, big breakfast was just what was needed after a night out. Service was pretty quick and polite staff.

One of my most favourite cafes in Hitchin. The full English never lets me down!

A really nice little cafe. We were greeted by a friendly smiley lady who took our order. The cafe is nice and fresh and open but the most important part, the nosh. It was all cooked to perfection, we had the chef's special breakfast, and we enjoyed the lot. The coffee was good too 😊Very happy tummies.

The food is always delicious and the customer service is out of this world. Perfect got all the family.

So my boyfriend and I came to Hitchin Cafe on a Sunday morning, we arrived at around 11.20am and by 12.10pm we’d left without being fed… we decided to wait a while hoping our food would come, but when we started to see that people who came in AFTER us (3 tables) were getting their food before we had ours, we decided to leave. Our tea and coffee took about 25 minutes to come and 10 minutes before we left we were given burnt toast that was supposed to come into my partners food. I have been here before and have been told by others who have been here some bad experiences but due to me not having that service I didn’t really think much of it. Clearly this is something that happens often and is obviously something to be worked on.Very disappointed, and as you can appreciate after waiting 50 minutes, very hungry… unfortunately because of the time we left, we wasn’t able to go and wait elsewhere because it’s a very busy time and didn’t want to be waiting anymore.

A solid 4.5! Good food, Not greasy. Huge portions, very affordable and the staff was nice :)Consider sourdough bread to reach a 5 ;)

Have never been disappointed with the food here. My go-to for breakfast any time of day.
