Lytton Arms in North Hertfordshire

One hour for two burgers and they were not even nice! Was the seme for all the people around us, other table was complaining that took 1 hour for olives to arrive.

Booked lunch today to celebrate my husbands birthday and to use voucher my daughter had brought us. When we arrived we were handed a menu with the choice of only two mains, sausage and mash or chicken and chorizo tagine. You could also have a burger or pizza, which we could have got from a fast food outlet on the Roaring Meg. The table next to us looked at the menu and booked another pub to eat on the phone while they were sitting there, they were so disappointed with the offerings. We only stayed as we had the voucher but won't be returningOn contacting the Lytton Arms directly, they offered us a complimentary meal to compensate for our disappointment. We were greeted by Danielle, who couldn't apologise enough for our first visit. We had a nice Sunday Roast and would now think about returning. Thank you Danielle.

Had a great night in camden and was well looked after by Lisa and Amy, can’t wait to go back. The craft selection is great!

We have just had the most delicious Sunday lunch at The Lytton Arms…we had the lamb sharer…I can honestly say it was the best Sunday dinner I’d ever had, the lamb just melted, the roast potatoes were perfection, crispy outside, fluffy in…The staff are so lovely, welcoming, friendly, easy to chat too…nothing was too much trouble for them…& Michelle was adorable & clearly cooks lamb better than anyone!!We will most definitely be back…such choices & even the bar snacks…I mean who wouldn’t love honey & mustard mini sausages with a drink!!Can’t wait for round two…thank you all…

Absolutely first class. Friendly staff, amazing food and a wonderful atmosphere. Looking forward to many more great meals there. Try the chocolate and hazelnut cheesecake, it is absolutely amazing!!!

An unexpectedly large selection of decent beers. You have your usual casks but there are fridges behind the bar with a spectacular array of cans

Really nice venue. Quite pricey but great food. Nice outside space, covered so ideal for rainy days.

Great country pub, it has a homely feel and great decor. The staff were friendly and attentive and made you feel welcome. We went on a Sunday and had the roast, the half chicken was absolutely superb, melts in your mouth and fell off the bone, succulent and tender. They also have a decent outside area undercover or benches which are not covered. A good selection of draught lagar and ales and if your a fan of craft beer they have a good variety also. We’ll be back for sure
