Magic Wok in North Hertfordshire

Nothing magic about this place. The food took over two hours to arrive despite being told when i called after an hour and a half it was on its way.Then when it did finally arrive the driver felt it was good customer service to be rude to my wife when she asked if the food was still warm. Saying “your not my boss” . Food sent away and i can safely say we will never order from them again!

First time we used Magic Wok last night, and what an experience, very friendly staff, excellent food, pleasant delivery driver. Highly recommend this place, will definitely be ordering again from here 100%

So dissapointed iv been coming here years but the last few visits the bbq sauce is like glue just slomps onto the plate with no flavour.me and my kids are gutted as we used to love it there shame,

Avoid at all costs. Bland, unseasoned, odd tasting, cold & dry take away. If it was a restaurant, I would have got up and left without finishing the meal.

Really disappointed how this has gone downhill lately.Ordered tonight and the food was not up to the normal standard.The seaweed was soft and not crunchy and not very nice.The noodles in chow mein were bland.The beef gristly.The duck came in a bag with pancakes instead of nicely packed in a container separately.Prawn crackers tasted of nothing.All the food was pretty tasteless compared to usual.It know times are hard but by cutting corners on taste and products and service that customers are used to will just lose them more customers.I will be looking for a new chinese.When you spend over £35 you expect a decent meal.The whole meal has been cut back of taste and good products.Customers used to get 10% discount for collection... . That's stopped nowUsed to get a free dish from a selected menu when spending over a certain amount.... that's stopped nowUsed to be able to change dishes that were pretty much same value on certain menus without a problem....that's stopped nowI hope they dont lose more customers due to cutting back like this. It's a shame. I used to recommend here to everyone. I wont now.Sad to see this happen.

My husband place an oder on the 7/11/21 prawn Thai Green curry that had no coconut milk no chilli pepper no flavour. Very poor excuse for Thai green curry. Matter of fact the food was unsuited to feed a dog. Everyone do not order this dish as you will be bitterly disappointed. We should have gotten our money back.

Big portions...really hot food. .lovely quick delivery service.

We have used this place for years, always had good quality, hot and fair priced food, using the just eat app is a great way to order as you can order for a set time. They normally say 45mins to 1 hour wait, but 99% of the time the food has been delivered with in 30 mins.Thanks for all the lovely food over the years magic wok,long may it continue 😀

Absolutely unacceptable. Delivery arrived with wrong item. I called instantly and they said they would send out the correct item, over an hour later and still waiting. I called and was told it was out for delivery 25 minutes ago. It arrived 1 hour 10 minutes, cold and not cooked. Never again

Have used Magic Wok for many years but last nights meal was the worst I have known, 2 hours to arrive (1 hr 15 advised) food was undercooked and ranged from lukewarm to cold. Everyone is entitled to make mistakes but this was exceptionally poor from somewhere that standards were always high. Curt response when phoned to enquire about late delivery as though they didnt care. Beware standards are slipping
