Molly's Tea Room in North Hertfordshire

I booked and afternoon tea for myself and a friend. When we walked in it was busy and had a lovely atmosphere, the staff were really friendly and the food was delicious! I didn't know what I wanted to eat first! Lovely buttery sandwiches and cute tasty cakes. What more can you ask for. Already planning my next visit. Would definitely recommend!

Kids unfriendly place. Went with my toddler for a cake as a special treat. She was sick for few days so wanted do something special. Unfortunately, the lady was rude and unwelcoming. Shame

After being highly recommended 5 of us visited this establishment today to honour a young son who had died . Unfortunately one of the staff was very rude and made it clear she was overworked and couldnt cope. She slammed the kitchen door in a mood when challenged about the poached eggs that were slopped on my plate and wasnt even poached and the forgotten salad and other poached egg meal. She made us feel so uncomfortable at an already tough time so we decided to abandon the meal and just pay for the drinks we had consumed. The waitress was apologetic regarding her colleague and completely empathised. Such a shame as the cakes looked delicious but wont be returning.

Had a lovely time, we had earl grey tea and scone. Lovely selection of cakes available.

Had after noon tea. Have only had delivery during lockdown, but thought we would try the shop. That was a pleasant experience lovely shop.

Small friendly teashop. Good range of teas, cakes and sandwiches plus a range of simple lunch dishes.

My friend and I went for an afternoon tea and it was absolutely wonderful. The food, staff and atmosphere were the best. Great value.

Super kitschy vintage style tea room! I've visited many times in groups, with friends and alone. I love cute the window displays, the atmosphere and gorgeous cakes. I look forward to coming back when possible!

My wife and I were in Hitchin for just one day. I had to have a scone while in the UK so we popped in to Molly’s for a spot of tea. The scones with clotted cream and jam were lovely as was the tea. The service was nice, everything was served with a smile! Molly’s is a nice local tea room worthy of a visit. If we find ourselves in Hitchin again we will absolutely stop by Molly’s for tea and scones!

Came here for afternoon tea. It was lovely! They were very accommodating (as we are quite fussy eaters!) And the food was lovely. Staff were all very friendly. Tea room is quite small but quaint and very relaxed environment.didnt feel rushed at all. Highly recommend
