Oriental Express in North Hertfordshire

The noodles and chicken balls was always yummy !! The salty pepper squid was not freshly cooked , must have been repeatedly fried and tasted like overnight left over. Which is a big disappointment when all the other dishes was super yummy. And they only accept cash hopefully they can move to contactless sooner!

If you want the worst chips in town then this place wins the award by a long shot. Can't believe they justify it by saying the public like the chips over cooked.

revolting, dry, cold, hard bits of chips tonight none of which were edible looked like they had been recooked several times

Waited 1 hour 50 minutes for a cold dinner, with the added bonus of a human hair. Disgusting

Poor food chips dry and hard. Pies been left under heat lamp to long that the dried inside and baked lid . Never anything ready and only takes cash . Overall a very poor shop and will look else where

No contactless and the cash machine outside is £1.50 to use. Not getting more than 1 star until they can move into using contactless especially during covid... Food was good though!

Our favourite Chinese and were big fans, connoisseurs even! Great menu selection, meat and seafood in mixed rice/chow mein is decent quality, ordered many times over the years and never disappoints!

Ordered fish and chips after the shop had been open for 2 hours, chips arrived very dry and fatty, fish very crispy but hardly any fish inside the batter....had to throw most of it away, very poor indeed.

Ordered a Chinese meal for delivery and it arrived piping hot and delicious. The chips and chicken sweet and sour pieces were very crispy and so tasty and perfect for dipping. I liked that the sweet n sour chicken were large pieces of proper chicken breast. I really like the combination of foods on the menu, great choice. Chow Mein with with fish and chips? No problem! The food took an hour to arrive but it was Saturday night, probably their busiest night. I would certainly order from here again.
