Pizza Hut in North Hertfordshire

Food is great if you collect, but if ordering for delivery it always turns up cold after a long wait

Do not try and order online it will take your money and the order won't get through to the shop 2/2/22 no mention of this happening. I'm writing this so as I have proof and hopefully get my money back. Sort ya online ordering out. Took ages for the declined email to come through even after receiving a confirmation notification. So confusing. Don't even offer anything for the inconvenience of having to then sort food out after it taking ages to try order online. Won't be eating till 7pm now mehhhh

Had two own fried pizza, amazing today. Super tasty, had hog roast pizza without cheese (as dairy allergic) was very tasty too!

The pizza’s I ordered were cold, in the past the pizza’s I ordered tasted hot and fresh but todays order was cold and tasted like it was made and left on the side, not coming back here again!!

Pizza Hut. Totally under-rated! The original and still the best 👍👍 the Hitchin one is always ready in about 20 mins if you collect.

Pizza was over an hour late despite the website saying there's a delivery guarantee of 40 mins and they offer you a £10 voucher as compensation. I called the Hitchin Hut to ask where my delivery was and explained it was over an hour late and all they said was it'll be there in 2 mins, no apology and no offer to compensate me at all. 2 mins later, pizza still didn't arrive and i was back on the phone to them. Won't be using again even if it was cheap.

Used to really like the pizzas here, but over the past 6 months the quality of the margarita pizzas (the only one I tend to order) has gone really down hill. It's now a half cooked greasy, sloppy mess. Tried eating a slice but made me retch, so threw it all away. Such a shame.

Amazing food and staff, not quite sure where the other reviewers went to saying otherwise. Delivery was quick and fast, and a very friendly driver, well deserved tip! Can’t wait for my next order

We ordered as a treat for our daughter's birthday. We ordered online and were given an ETA of 40-50 minutes, but after around 35 the tracker app updated to say it had been delivered. We thought maybe it was a glitch, but when it got to an hour we thought we better phone and check.During the first call they told me it was "with the driver". We waited another 15 minutes and still no food. I called again and was again told it was with the driver. They explained the driver was new and doesn't have a phone, so they couldn't get in touch with him to chase it. Quite how you can work as a delivery driver and not have a phone I have no idea! I asked if they could remake the order and I would collect it, and she said they couldn't as the driver had their only copy of the order - which seems very unlikely.Another 20 minutes passed without any food so we called again. We were then told they didn't have any record whatsoever of our order! I asked how it was therefore possible in the previous two calls it was "with the driver", and was told an elaborate story about how her eyesight is poor and she has misread another address on our street as ours. The other address supposedly also had an order at the same time - although as this is a bungalow with people in their 80s living there I fail to believe this!When asked what they were going to do to rectify it they told us to contact head office.We ordered a Domino's, which was delicious and prompt!
