Rose and Crown in North Hertfordshire

Very accommodating for a good number of our hungry and tired Tribe. Pre booked 14 of us for Sunday grub, and definitely would return.

Dinner with family. Great friendly atmosphere. It eas very busy so had to wait a while for food but was advised of delay before we ordered.

Fantastic food and service such a nice atmosphere we definitely will be back again sorry we had to rush off and not tell you in person thank you for a lovely meal my burger was to die for 👍😎

Proper village pub. Dogs allowed and welcomed. Not eaten in there recently. Friendly staff.

We had a lovely meal, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

This is the village pub to go to, warm welcome as the fire lit making a great atmosphere. Landlord top guy a big dog lover, he even came over with a bowl of water just for the dogs. Sit yourself down and chose from the menu, oh them pigs cheeks are amazing. Three of my favourite bitters, what do you need, had a great evening, quieter on Wednesday. Friday evening is the place to be, get yourself down to the Rose and Crown.

Came to Ashwell for a few days, a few locals recommended the Rose and Crown. We had a very warm welcome was a traditional pub, dog friendly. All the staff very friendly. Good food and beer.

We had a delicious supper at the pub last night. Rob had Braised Pig Cheeks, and I had Duck Breast and they were both amazing.Perfectly cooked and seasoned with an excellent selection of winter vegetables.We could not actually remember the last time we had had an evening meal out ! The service is friendly but professional, and there was a lovely atmosphere of a traditional local pub. We will do this again soon!
