Luckily, there wasn't a Q🙂. There often is. 2 X bacon n egg in multigrain bap👍. V nice🙂 local indy baker i.e NOT Greggs so BIG +Only a 3 because I have only sampled 1 product.

Lovely little bakery which we always use during our stays in Hitchin. Friendly welcoming staff.

With simmons the brand you know what you are getting. The shop had lovely staff and a pleasant view near by to enjoy our purchases. We'll worth a visit.

Came here straight from Chia after being told where they buy their bread because I didn’t want to leave Hitchin without more of that sourdough. Started eating it in the car. Everything else looked good too.

Overall Rating:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Price For Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Overall the price of the food/drinks at Simmons Bakery is very good. The overall prices of the products are reasonable in regards to portion sizes and quality. I am aware that this specific Bakery is very desirable within the Hitchin area.Speed of Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️On this particular day the speed of service was fairly average. There was multiple members of staff on shift but the line never seemed to really end. Time between joining the line and walking out the door with my product was around 10-15 mintues. Although I am not sure if this is down to customers ordering huge quantities and awkward products.Food Quality: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Overall quality of my food was extremely good! All the products I purchased were top quality and extremely flavourful. As this is my first experience here I can assure you I will be returning.Restaraunt Cleanliness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The overall cleanliness of the bakery was very good. A COVID secure business. However due to the high quantity of customers there was some general mess but I’m sure this would have been amended when it died down.AOB- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The outside building and colour scheme for the bakery is extremely aesthetically pleasing. It’s well maintained and suits the rest of the feel and atmosphere within Hitchin town centre.

There's always a fairly long queue here on a Saturday morning so we decided to see what the fuss what about. My mouth is drooling thinking about the sandwich and doughnut that I had. Will definitely be back!

Went into Simmons and was charged £7.50 for a Jacket potato, no butter, tuna & Mayo with side salad. I have been purchasing these for years but today was face with a hostile server which is unusual for Simmons Hitchin. When I asked her for the normal salad portion that I usually get I was told that they have been instructed to serve smaller salad portions and that now it would only be a garnish. Then she proceeded to charge me an extra 2.50 for a few salad leaves. I have been buying my lunch here for many year but will not be returning. Horrible service with overpriced food.

Average food, atrocious service by rude, poorly trained girls - perceived by my non-White British husband, and myself as witness, to be racially motivated rudeness. Never again!
