Delicious food, plenty of choice and lovely atmosphere! Their dog was so cute and curious and the view outside during spring was beautiful.

Dogs are no longer allowed into the tea room. Dog friendly tearoom. Lovely homemade cakes, can highly recommend the caramel cake and parmesan and walnut scones. Coffee nice and hot. Great to look around the garden centre afterwards.

Very rude staff. I asked if there was a table available and a woman at the back of the kitchen just said "NO". Didn't even try to offer a takeaway or any other help, so I left and got a coffee and cake elsewhere. Went here on a recommendation but won't be returning.Update after response. My visit was on the afternoon of Tuesday 14th August at around 3pm, I was on my own and when I walked in I did read the sign that is why I had a look around for a spare table. I saw one near the door with reserved, another in the middle that had no chairs around it and one at the far end with reserved on it as well. This is why I approached the counter enquiring about any tables available, after the woman said no someone also muttered (possibly the same person) "Well there is a table but not any chairs!"If I was with other people or meeting someone else there I probably would of waited for a seat but as I mentioned, I was on my own so I had a brief look at the cakes on display and then left.I understand that places can get very busy at certain times of the day and this can be stressful for the staff but there is no need to be rude to your customers and a simple "Sorry we don't at the moment but we're happy for you to wait" would of sufficed.

I visited the tearoom on the 29th March and was disgusted that the owners two hairy dogs were able to walk in and out of the tearoom. I observed a child been biten and knocked off his feet by one of the dogs. The owners were not bothered and voices were raised as the child’s mum asked for it to be removed as there were other children in the tea room. This did not happen and they remained in the tea room. I will never return. Absolutely disgraceful!!!!

Excellent tea room with really good quality coffee & a fabulous array of cakes (all homemade). I love the atmosphere of this bright big space and the friendly dogs belonging to the owners.

Suddenly occurred to me that after being a regular visitor for so long I really ought to leave you a review! Fantastic choice of gluten free savoury and sweet things. Food is always great and such a lovely friendly atmosphere. My first choice for a lunchtime outing and I recommend the place to everyone.

Went to the cafe today following good reviews. Lovely food but an hour was a bit long to wait for a jacket potato. Not much of an issue but when mentioned to the owner, he was very rude and said we were wrong?!. I support local businesses but we really didnt deserve to be treated like this, wont be back again.

Lovely helpful staff and a really welcoming cafe. Loss of really nice quality gifts and garden things to buy too. The only thing i would say is that the coffees could be improved with some training on the machine they use so as not to burn the milk etc. But it tastes nice anyway and the staff more than make up for the coffee. Lovely place.
