The Grapevine in North Hertfordshire

Wonderful restaurant. Food is delicious, with quite a wide menu. Very comfortable, cosy but not cramped seating. Staff are lovely and prices are just right.

Friendly staff and service. Put the sun shade down when we asked if we could eat outside. Food was very good. The vegetarian stew option was very tasty.

We were a group of 36 people, we ordered our food, I was worried that the food would have been cooked in advance and so not as fresh.Let me tell you they got 36 starters and Mains out FRESH not a single order was wrong, the service was 10/10 the food was brilliant, the whole restaurant was so accommodating and friendly even let us sit and chill.Thank you for giving us a great eve

Fantastic!We are here last night and loved what I had.The starter was a large portion, something with rice wrapped in leaves and humous instead of a yoghurt to make it vegan.My main was a half aubergine dish with a side of chips that I glazed with pomegranate sauce. All these dishes were new to me. I loved the pomegranate sauce.We were too stiffed to order desert. The meals were part of a starter + main midweek offer for £13.95. Bargain.Even if it cost more I would definitely eat here again.The lady who took our orders was lovely and helped me a great deal in making a vegan selection from the menu.

Lovely restaurant and really good food, service got a tad slow when busy but I'd happily come back here.

Great meal really enjoyed by all 5 of our group. Super food, helpful, attentive and very pleasant staff. Just slightly let down by being presented with the wrong bill which was £30 more than ours should have been - mistakes happen of course (but I had to point it out) and it wouldn't stop me visiting again.

Really nice staff, good food, but what I liked the most was how accomodating the staff was with my baby. Would deffo come back ❤

Definitely a place to visit. Arrived at the start of service but it filled up quickly. Service was prompt and very efficient.Service was also attentive and friendly a real plus in my opinion.We had starters and the main deal (Sunday to Thursday I think).Halloumi and the Sausage starter were tasty and very well presented. The kebab and chops mains likewise. All dishes were well flavoured and the descriptions accurately described them.An excellent experience that was very reasonable in price. Service is not included and tips need to be cash not card so bear that in mind.
