The Little Deli in North Hertfordshire

Poor selection, the cold cuts are prepackaged without any weight on them. Very overpriced and extremely poor selection. I would recommend to go to proper Italian deli in St. Albans instead.

Great selection of authentic Italian and European goods.Fresh cheese counter and meats are fabulous.We are lucky to have this shop in Hitchin.I would love to shop here once a week but its way too expensive, so it is one a month.Unfortunately the older staff can be quite curt towards the end of a long day.

My favourite shop in Hitchin! Such an amazing selection there’s always something new to discover for a picnic, evening treat or gift. The garlic stuffed olives are the best I’ve found in the UK as well they even convert olive-haters!

I bought some baron bigod brie that was bad. I didn't inspect the piece properly in the shop. I got home to find one side was dried and discolored, and the rest tastes of ammonia. I would have taken it back if I could, but I'm too far now. Very disappointing.

Fantastic deli. Super friendly staff and all of their recommendations were delicious. We bought cheese, cured meats, 3 different scotch eggs and sausage rolls but the best by far was the pate.

The Little Deli is fantastic! I wanted to send a gift hamper to a friend. However, I live overseas and thought it might be a bit of a hassle to try and coordinate with a smaller shop. I thought about just ordering online from one of the bigger shops like M&S for ease but I’m so glad I didn’t! The Little Deli was tremendously helpful in organising everything. They responded to my initial email request within 5 minutes and walked me through different options for customising gift hampers. I gave a price point and a few pointers on things I knew my friend liked but otherwise asked for their help. They put together a really fantastic hamper full of amazing cheeses, gin, snacks and sweet treats. Once the order was finalised and I paid, it was all wrapped up beautifully and then delivered that day! My friend really loved it.Also, the prices are really good, especially considering the very high quality of the products and the superb customer service provided. I would highly recommend.

An amazing selection of top quality cheeses and savouries, plus shelves abundant with everything you need to go with your cheese and more. From crackers, to interesting pickles, to a cheeky bottle of something. All with the expert advice of the friendliest foodies in town!

Have been going to the Little Deli since it opened. An amazing choice of cheese and other treats. Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. Glad that during this lockdown they are managing to provide a click and collect service.The only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is the amount of plastic wrapping used now.

I have just received a 'lock down' food parcel from one of your customers. Beautifully presented in a straw filled box inside a cloth bag, the aroma was fantastic. I started with the little red Peruvian peppers, they were the first, second and third things that I tried, then the crostini, then back to the peppers, the salami, the cheeses and those yellow, cheese-filled squash yum, all of this was the highest quality and absolutely delicious. Thank you. Well chosen and well made.
