The Orange Tree in North Hertfordshire

A great night on Saturday with really well cooked food. Tasty well presented and very friendly staff. Even produced a bill for drinks only. Being lawful this was pointed out and was a pleasure to pay. All 12 of us were exceptionally happy.

The service was spot on, very friendly staff. The food was lovely, although I was slightly disappointed with mine which was the Hunters chicken The pudding, sticky toffee pudding, more than made up for it.My husband had the BBQ Combo, which he enjoyed. Will come again, when we can sit outside and bring our dog.

Had a saturday evening here and their Adele tribute was amazing . Had the crowd in the palm of her hand ! Would definitely come again!

The Orange Tree, as usual, served us well. Don't worry if the carpark looks full, just take a right after entering - there is plenty more space at the rear.Pre-booking is essential for Sunday Lunch - this is a popular venue with very friendly and efficient staff.Food of good quality is served within a reasonable length of time.I would like a better choice of bitters but this choice ( two not extraordinary brews ) may be dictated by the brewery.Not too rowdy but not a dill atmosphere either.

Decent selection of beers, including some local ales. Always nice to see a cask mild nowadays. In a way I wish I'd never been here because it was after a friend's funeral. On the other hand, the staff were welcoming, service was good and they put on a decent spread. RIP James, your funeral afterparty was a blast.

Absolutely not up to a good standard that one would expect.We used the venue for a wake and let's just say myself and the guests all shared the same opinion.No manager was on site to deal with the issues it was being run by youngsters that didn't have a clue and definitely had no customer relations skills.It's definitely not the venue that it once was.Won't be going back anytime soon.

Great for a quick lunch. We had bar snacks and they were delicious. Fast service, good food and nice atmosphere. Will be back again soon.

This place is consistently great. Never had a bad experience here. Reasonably priced and great staff. Food is superb.

We had such a lovely time here. Food was good and felt safe during covid too. A bit late to post as I went over 3 months ago. Hopefully by now they have the disabled toilet light fixed, as changing a baby wasn't easy. Can't wait to visit again.Great and very friendly staff too.

Service was pleasant, professional and efficient. Food was very good (we had a variety of roasts and other dishes). The loos were very clean 😁. The price was reasonable. No EV charger onsite is a shame but nonetheless, can recommend this pub for food and service.
