The Platform in North Hertfordshire

Used to work in Letchworth, popped over the other week and had a bit of time waiting for wife to finish shopping. Decided to pop in for a cheeky pint, shame the Doom Bar was off. Tried something new for a change which I enjoyed. Good buzzy atmosphere, large sports screen. Would go there again when in Letchworth next, worth a visit.

It's a good local. With cheap alcohol and a good boogie on a Saturday and Friday night. Also Saturday and Friday night can turn into a good fight night. So watch out !

Came here for a birthday. Was Initially impressed with the menu. Very good prices and deals. Easy to use app. Vast drinks menu. With great cocktails which tasted great.Starters were ok at best. Halloumi was very dry and over cooked but prawns and calamari were good.However our mains took 1hr plus to arrive. When it arrived one order was wrong and chips were cold. Limited communication from staff and not offered condiments and cutlery.What made this review 4 stars compared to the initial 2 I was going to give was the fact that 1) the burger was actually really good, great bun and lovely meat. 2) The manager came over acknowledged the sub par service and long wait. He then proceeded to give us all a full refund without asking. This shows an actual careing for customer experience and is likely a reason I would visit again and give the platform another shot.

Amazing place to watch football! The wings and Cocktails are amazing!!! Adam went the extra mile and made our stay.Great place with great beers too

Went out for a meal and drinks with my family and had a great time. It was made extra special by the chef going out of her way to accommodate for my allergies she was very knowledgeable about what I would like and that I could eat. Also the bar staff were excellent and knew exactly what I can and can’t have due to my allergies. The bar ladies name was latti thank you all soo much for mine and my families experience we will definitely be coming back very soon.

I have to say the young lady Nicole is so attentive. She's a asset to the company. Ive never seen her sitting down shes always up helping smiling i hope the platform keep her i like coming in to see her. will be booking our party here so hope she will be our server

Great Lunch, great staff, awesome place to eat 🍽😋

We popped into The Platform on Christmas Eve for a cheeky meal and drink. The food and drink is reasonably priced, both meals fish and chips, and hunters chicken were big portions tasty, severed by very friendly staff. We both liked the book corner, also a children corner with various books and games. We will be visiting this very pleasant pub again.

Staff are very attentive and knowledgeable made my visit extra special. I just want to say thank you to Nicole gavin and Harriet for making my visit amazing. Food was excellent and was cooked by char. Would definitely come back and bring all my family and friends.
