Vinnie and I were called last minute to cover DJing a gig at The Snug on Sun St in Hitchin last night - and we had an absolute blast! What should've been a 2 hour journey on the M25 took us almost 4 after a lorry had overturned so we arrived slightly later than we'd hoped to but blimey, was the trip worth it. We had a great night meeting the locals there and think we hit a record for the amount of requests we took on the karaoke. We were made to feel so welcome and loved by those who enjoyed our little show too. We hope we get another opportunity to come back to The Snug again. Wonderful establishment... we just wish we weren't so far away from it. 😌 THANK YOU SNUG BAR FOR A GREAT GIG! X

Expensive and a rip offOrdered 2 identical drinks, 2 Jack Daniel's and coke, which was paid for my card, quickly glanced at the receipt, 20.55, which I though must have been the time.Upon checking my bank statement the following day, it turns out that was the price! Very expensive and how can 2 identical drinks total 20.55? it's not divisible by 2 - never again.

Not a huge selection but a great vibe - friendly bar staff and fun music. Gay friendly too🏳️‍🌈 had a great time here!

Drinks were ok. Service not as good. When we were being served we wanted to confirm what drinks were on Happy Hour and was advised they all were from 5PM. After placing an order for 8 drinks we were advised that the Manager had decided that from there and then Happy Hour was no longer available and it was only a trial. Unfair to plaster it all over social media and their website and then refuse afterwards.

I do enjoy the snug bar for its drinks and the establishment overall is cosy. The only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars is that the music is played far too loud when the space is clearly not intended for dancing. It's quite annoying trying to have a conversation if you're sat practically anywhere in the venue.

Um ... expensive ... quite a good range of cocktails, staff very friendly and attentive and pretty efficient ... place cleaned on a regular basis ... just quite pricey, which is fine if you're good with that.
