Lovely little pub. No food cooked on premises but they do arrange 'pop-up' dining. Very inventive!Pizzas, meat etc. They have a FB page with details. Sadly no coffee at present but pleasant and helpful service.

Great friendly and welcoming drinking pub. Serves an array of food by guest pop up restaurants or guest chefs. Check dates for food nights. Also has successful cookery competition once a month.

A pleasant couple of drinks whilst watching the six nations. Friendly bar staff, good real ale and selection of crisps. Nice atmosphere. Will visit again.

Nice pub on the edge of a beautiful picturesque village. No restaurant, didn't serve any bar food when we visited (Sunday lunchtime)

We moved to Barkway a few months ago and we class this pub as our favourite local, we visit after a long walk with our dog at least once a week. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Lots of outdoor seating when the sun is out and well behaved dogs are welcome :)Rather than having a restaurant there they often host pop up restaurants and gourmet food stalls/mobile restaurants. This is such a great idea and provides variety as well as sampling some of the local restaurants. We recently went for the stone oven baked pizzas by Fräulicious on a Friday evening and they were so delicious- the German pizzas were to die for, can't wait for them to visit again. We are looking forward to trying the mobile pie caterers too when they next visit!

Beautiful place and placed perfectly just off the B1368.Great range of beers and ciders! Orchard Pig on draught too!Get yourself down there! Plus it is in the country 😋.

Good food and everyone is friendly. Dog biscuits on the bar for our four legged pals who can go everywhere except the restaurant area. Beers and ales are always local and always in good condition.
