Delicious food 😋 nice atmosphere, very polite , caring and helpful staff. Kitchen staff prepared sausage and mash potatoes for my daughter. Delicious puddings 🤗 me and my friends had a great evening last night. Thank you 😊 definitely worthy to come back ☺️

Went for lunch today. Lovely hostess greeted us and took drinks and food ordered. I ordered Wagyu burger with cheese which was extra, another one our party Wagyu burger no cheese and the third a fish & chips. Food arrives I ask the waitress which is one with cheese she didn’t know. I said only one should have cheese she said she didn’t know and assumed both. Waitress left no cheese on either which was extra. Waitress comes back and said yes was great except was no cheese and thought would therefore remove from bill as not received. She gives me the bill which still says extra for cheese. I query it and comes back and said manager said no there was cheese you might not have noticed as it’s black like the burger. Don’t kid me wrong it’s not much extra but I did raise it at the time and then felt like was my fault and expected to still pay. There was no cheese. Did not feel like much customer service especially when waitress did not know whether a dish had cheese which would be concerning but luckily no one in our party had any dairy issues. I have therefore given three stars.EDIT- the very polite and lovely manager called me after seeing my review which was unexpected but very helpful. Also not the manager the waitress spoke to as was a gentleman. Manager very understanding and will take it up as training issue. Feeling very confident that will be looked into and extremely understanding. I have therefore changed to 4* as improved view after discussing with Mandy

Very spacious garden with a large pond with plenty of turtles ❤️❤️ beer was nice & cold ;-)) Extra large car park ;-))

Excellent friendly service and good food. Several other local pubs weren't serving food on a Friday evening, so we were very happy that they were able to accommodate us and will certainly return when we are in the area again.

Large but cosy and well presented pub. We were there for a family gathering with a buffet, which was very well organised by their events team. The staff were very helpful, everything ran smoothly and the food was excellent - and plentiful. Very impressed all round. My daughter bought me an excellent scotch with a very palatable peaty flavour from the bar and I think that was one from a good selection. On April tidal note, there is a large car park. All in all an excellent experience.

Great countryside location on the edge of Stevenage. It was a quiet lunch, midweek lunchtime, and the staff were very attentive and friendly.The food delicious, timely and reasonably priced.

Visited the Three Horseshoes Christmas day for a party of 9.... was awful to be honest, 35 minutes for us to be seated after arrival , then receiving our starters over 45 minutes later. after this the main course was over an hour later, i was specially happy with my particularly course being the wrong main. To then receiving my actual meal with a hair in, one staff member did try her best to resolve but ultimately was not enough.Would i recommend going on Christmas day again? absolutely not stay at home and cook however, if going outside of Christmas period and if this pub was quieter could be a different experience.

Just home from having lunch there and delighted with the meal. The Liver and Bacon on the Specials menu was excellent, all freshly cooked and delicious. The Belgian Waffle for pudding just right to finish. Good beer, good wine and excellent service. Thank you! All 7 plates on our table emptied!

Lovely local pub & restaurant one of my favourite spots in Hertfordshire. I been there for fathers day and really enjoyed it. Looking forward to go again. Lobey atmosphere and staff. Chef are doing really professional dishes. Most the time I leave pubs with half empty stomach but The three horse shoes. Woow Big dady's meal dish absolute great addition to the menu.Will definitely see you guys soon. Never hesitate to go with your family.
