Good value food and drink. This particular Wetherspoons could do with an upgrade, very good service

·

The Ale selection wasn't very goodThey have one or two good one's per month but they go very quickly which you would think would alert the person who is ordering the beer to have a better understanding of what his /her customers wanted , I have asked a few times about this but to know avail

·

Place filthy. No salt anywhere. Tables and bars covered in glasses. I appreciate its busy but this was duttyyyyy. Ask the manager for some salt and to maybe clear off some tables and he stormed off and threw a hissy fit. With even the quintessential glasses smashing behind the door as he went through.

·

The staff were rude when taking the orders and not advising what was in or out of stock. Our food arrived with the steak well done instead of medium well, there were no kids options in for our son and the man who dealt with the issues we raised was incredibly rude and unhelpful.

·

Takes ages to get served more staff plz prices good and the staff that are there are good

·

Good food. Wonderful service. Good prices on drinks. Wonderful atmosphere. I always drink here.

Spent a couple of hours here the other evening. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere in the pub was good, not like you get in some other Wetherspoons. Worth a visit for cheap drinks, half the price of the next place we went to.

Nice little pub in the centre of the town. It like many of the Wetherspoon pubs is an old converted shop and there are various photos of it in it's past life. There's parking close by but prices vary from free on street, if you can find a space to expensive (compared to other local towns) in the town hall car park.Great range of beers and various local historical stories and pictures, including the eccentric squire.Worth a visit during shopping trips to the town.

The one star is because the staff were lovely. Place was filthy, food very poor quality, to the point I couldn't eat a bite, over cooked burgers in a dry bun and a few chips bunged on. Not a nice experience

Just had the most delicious large breakfast my wife had the traditional breakfast. Both very well presented and cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone who is in the area . A thank you to all the staff for making the visit very enjoyable Sorry could not put any pictures as ate the breakfast to quick 😀
