The Three Tuns in North Hertfordshire

After attending a event in The Bushel & Strike and unable to get served any food or drink except refilling my water bottle in the mens toilet hand sink, I left very annoyed but walking around the village playing a treasure hunt I saw this pub was open. Decided to go hoping that won't get the same experience, well I got the total opposite and it was pleasant relief. Friendly staff and ordered a small bite to eat and a drink within minutes of entering. Much better managed venue and if ever in the area again this will be my port of call.

Went to The Three Tuns Ashwell for their Sunday Carvery but they no longer do it despite it being all over the website,walls and menus. Bit disappointing. Food we had was OK but a bit slow coming. Beer was good.

Really happy. I live in Ashwell and shared a Just Eat takeaway with my sister recently. Great burgers and excellent portion sizes and sides. Really happy with how it was packaged too. Thanks.

Fabulous surprise 50th Afternoon Tea. Thank you so much Claire, Sharon and team. You made us all feel so welcome and couldn’t have been more helpful. The afternoon tea was absolutely delicious, service so attentive and you catered effortlessly for all 24 of us - all our food requirements, babies and dogs! A wonderful surprise 50th party for our lovely friend. She was blown away. Thank you so much

Very Clean and warmly welcomed for my first time I’d definitely be back food was a good portion and very nice, the Lady serving today was excellent happy and had great customer service a lovely experience

Lovely country pub. Great food and service. Staff were welcoming and friendly. We had steak (perfectly cooked) chilli and burgers. All excellent. Highly recommend.

We had a great two night stay and the food was fantastic. The managers and staff are all really lovely and helpful.Good variety to choose from on the menu (recommend to try their burgers) with a really nice breakfast included with our booking.Lovely little find !!Thanks for having us 😊

I have had a couple of meals here in the last few weeks since the new management arrived and all visits have been excellent, the food is absolutely amazing and the service is 5*. There is also a Great choice of wines! And everything is exceptional value for money! So glad ive found this fabulous place to come too, and I can’t wait to be a regular visitor! Stopped by for a drink yesterday after a walk. The staff were very welcoming. They had a gazebo in place which made it warmer for sitting outside. We plan to go back in June to sample their food, which sounded interesting.
