Lovely little pub. Serves good food and is always busy so that tells you everything. Very polite and welcoming staff. Outside seating is very nice. serves the best ploughman's for miles.

A traditional proper pub. The staff are warm and welcoming. Good food that is freshly cooked at a reasonable price, with different offers each. Pie and a pub in the winter is a winner. Booking is recommended as it's always busy. Nice cosy fires when it's cold and a lovely garden in the warmer weather.

You wouldn’t get a better welcome than here, lovely food, lovely staff, beautiful garden to sit in in summer and many events to look forward too. highly recommended!!

Fabulous service, good quality, great priced proper pub food

Lovely afternoon with the family. The staff was super friendly and the location is charming with the little lake behind the pub. Food was good although the wifey said the burger was a little bit dry.
