Bang In Wells in North Norfolk

Great place to stay and eat in a fantastic location. Our room was light, spacious and clean. Tea and coffee provided in the room along with real milk in the fridge, biscuits and hot chocolate. What a great little place, would definitely stay again and eat there again too.

The food a Bang is well prepared with generous filling in sandwiches. Set in a great building and courtyard, both welcoming to dogs. The only thing, I’m sad to say, letting it down was the staff attitudes leaving us with a feeling of less than welcome. Hopefully an off day for the team and not a true reflection. Would revisit if passing again.

Had a full English here, was nice enough but quiet dear for very small portion in my opinion. It only had 21 baked beans (yes, that few I felt the need to count) and 1/4 of a mushroom too. I think the coffee was more an exercise in showing off a fancy cup, impractical and again small.

Fantastic lunch, group of 9 and all the food was great. Served in good time and friendly staff. Very smart and clean inside and food well presented and tasty, good portion size. Would recommend and eat here again without hesitation

Lovely rooms & very clean. Warning that they charge you a dog fee per dog per night which was not on their Ts & Cs or mentioned anywhere on their website. No vegan options on the menu at all so had to ask for a bit of a customisation (but which was very nice).

Got here early on a Sunday morning and it was already busy! We were asked if we had a reservation, didn't think we would have needed one so early. Just about managed to get in on a hight table. We'll worth making a reservation based on our experience. Was really nice.

Came for breakfast, food was decent though I'd say portion of the full English was small for the price. Service was okay but waitress on shift seemed very short and was not very engaging to us or others - seemed more interested in looking outside or chatting to other staff. Little disappointed given other reviews.

We had a very nice lunch here. Staff were lovely and on the ball despite being busy. Food was excellent and place was very clean and the interior very warm and inviting. All finished up with a lovely coffee, what more could you want!

We had a wonderful full English breakfast at Bang in Wells today (31/12/2021) The quality was exceptional. You'll need to book, it's very busy and I can understand why. The service was also excellent.

Really nice spacious cafe with lovely fireplace. Friendly service and good food. We had lunch there with our baby and they reconfigured the table to accommodate our pram. Pretty good value for money too. Coffee excellent!
