Crab Pot Cafe in North Norfolk

Lovely place, staff and customers were fantastic. Very welcoming and food was great too. Offer a Slimming World breakfast which was perfect.

Visited bank holiday weekend booked a table and also the crab platter. Was told when we arrived that table was not ready and would have to wait. On ordering our food was told no crab left and I might be able to get a sandwich out it and that’s your lot. Although food was nice customer service was poor and the owner very abrupt. Especially when people coming in asking about tables was just told “No” and “No crab” not the customer service you would expect

Think we must have got the cafe staff on an off-day but not a pleasant experience. We were ushered to a table but then waited 15 mins (with 2 small boys) before being served. Not because it was particularly busy, just because the staff needed to step outside for a breather.Eventually asked, rather begrudgingly, what we wanted. There was no crab (I recommend getting there before 1:30pm!) so we were stuck with paninis and, whilst I'm sure the crab is great, the rest of the food is average at best.Looked like the staff/owner was having a bad day so tiptoed our way through the meal trying our best not to be an inconvenience, paid up and legged it!All is not lost. I bought some fresh crab at a nearby fishmonger and am tucking into some homemade crab sandwiches as I type. All's well that ends well.

Great experience all round. Nice food (Crab sandwiches), great service and nice atmosphere. Would come here again and recommend it.

Went for a mid week lunch , never been before but will certainly go again , the food was exceptional as was the service, my wife went for the vegetarian panini the presentation was superb, I went for the half full English everything was piping hot and although it was only a half serving there was more than enoughThoroughly recommend this place

We’ve been to Cromer many times before and have only just discovered the Crab pot cafe, the Crab platter was out of this world and really good value for money. Staff were really friendly and helpful, we’ll definitely be back that’s for sure.

Lovely fresh food, friendly service. You must try the crab (when available), breakfasts also very good and tasty.

What an absolutely fantastic little cafe. We visited after conducting a google search and weren’t disappointed. We had to wait a few minutes for an empty table but the owner kept us informed during our wait. The crab was fresh, tasted amazing, and was very reasonably priced. The owner was very friendly too and I had a good chat with him.

Had a wonderful afternoon in the crab pot cafe. Beautiful crab sandwiches and amazing cream tea with date and walnut scones served warm. Will be sure to visit next time we are in Cromer
