Fish & Fry Mundesley in North Norfolk

I have to admit it was one of the best burgers I've ever had.... And the fish my wife had was like the size of a shark🦈.... Brilliant

Gluten free! They have a dedicated gluten free fryer and offer gluten free fish, chips, sausages, onion rings and pineapple fritters! Ring ahead to order. Delicious, crispy gluten free batter and big portions. We will be back.

Quite simply, Outstanding!! Probably one of the best Fish & Chip shops I have ever been in....& I've certainly been in a few over the years. We popped over last week after a long walk on the beach with the dog. I was loitering outside & the proprietor asked if she could help me...I put my order in & she told me to park opposite & she would call me when ready....in about 10 minutes. Sure enough she did....& it occurred to me that they had kept the shop open especially for me as I had arrived after closing time. Anyway I ordered large Cod & Chips for me & Medium Cod & Chips for my wife.....it was unbelievable. Be warned! The portion sizes are not for the faint hearted. My Cod was the size of a small whale, though my wife's was more dolphin proportions!! Unbelievably good & amazing service too....Will be back very soon! Xx ❤ xX

Huge menu options, we were greeted politely at the door and ordered cod and a bacon and cheeseburger both with chips.....we saw the loaded chips menu but were so glad we didn’t get them as wow! Our portions were huge and the batter was crisp and it was cooked to order...it took a while but it’s bank holiday and everyone was working very hard...good effort guys! We will be back....

Food was amazing ! You truly get what you pay for , customer service was outstanding ! Made sure everyone was safe wearing masks at a 2m distance , I phoned my order through at 6 and collected at 7:30 Saturday evening although there was a short wait we got reassured that our order was there and wouldn’t take long , very sad though that some people just couldn’t understand how busy they were and wasn’t understanding ! We happily waited for the best fish and chips in the village 🙂

Best fish and chip supper for ages. Perfect date night eating very tasty crispy battered haddock and chips watching the sea and surfers brave the chilly waters. Generous portions, great quality and excellent service.

This place came highly recommended from a family friend of ours who visited here the last time she was up and I can honestly say the whole experience was amazing. Not only was the food DELICIOUS (the burgers and loaded chips were to die for), but the service we received was top notch. We will definitely be returning before the end of our holiday

Love this place, all American dinner and English chippy. No mars bars here, only great fresh fish and great burgers. Plus much much more, the burgers are the best in Norfolk. Sorry zacks these blow you out of the water. If McDonald's served these they would say best in the world. The chippy next door is so nice. I am gluten free( celiac) and they did the nicest batter I have ever tasted, I would love there recipes for fish. I even had scraps which is a luxury for me and anyone els with the same condition. The fish shop is joined to the burger shop called BBs. Its a great looking shop and very original with a Pontiac front end as the serving counter. The staff are very kind and bend over backwards to help. Thank you for all the trouble you took with my order.Very Very good not enough stars.

Good fish and chips. We are dog sitting nearby . Was advised that this was a good chippy. So we rang ,put our order in , turned up and picked up order.Very friendly place. Chips wrapped up in newspaper.Took fish and chips home and they where really good . Well done . Will differently call back in November.

Very friendly place with the usual chippy options but also fantastic burger choice from their burger place next door and even kebabs. Portions are sizeable.
