Foundry Arms in North Norfolk
Where is Foundry Arms?

"Family run pub & restaurant set in a quiet, wonderful North Norfolk village 3 miles inland from the popular seaside town of Cromer. Offering a range of real ales, lagers, bottles, spirits and wine. Excellent home cooked food, created with the freshest of ingredients by our dedicated and talented chefs. Whilst our steaks and fish are some of the best in Norfolk we also offer a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Our excellent staff continually receive great reviews and rightly so as they offer superb service being attentive yet unintrusive. Recent changes include our new spectacular garden which diners & drinkers love in equal measure & we are always making those other small positive changes which matter so much. See you soon."

What a treat! We came tonight for our 1 year wedding anniversary, after debating for ages where to go for our tea we settled on this place and we are glad we did! My husband had the seafood platter which he really enjoyed , I had broccoli soup and steak and ale pie with chips which was amazing. Reasonably priced for the quality, staff were very friendly, we left feeling full and happy

This lovely pub was recommended by the owners of the holiday cottage we stayed in Mundesley, only 15 minute drive away. Easily booked over the phone and we also took the dog. We had a warm welcome for our early dinner. The staff were quick to arrange dinner for the girls, while me and my husband struggled to pick what to eat! We decided to share the main seafood platter. It was amazing and an incredibly generous serving, even with a 4yo stealing all the best bits! Highly recommend and will definitely come back when we're next in North Norfolk.

We struck gold finding this pub on our first night on holiday in Cromer. Really friendly and welcoming staff, child and dog friendly, and the food was absolutely amazing. Everything is homemade and we all loved our meals. So good, we went back again 2 days later for more of the same!Would highly recommend.

Friendly and welcoming after a lovely walk.Tasty traditional Sunday lunch. Very homely and great value.Made a fuss over Eric our dog so that’s always a plus for us.

Helpful, staff from beginning to end. Visiting Felbrigg Hall and wanted somewhere near for lunch, we rang prior to going to check if there was a table. You can sit inside the pub in the small restaurant area or indeed in the sheltered outside area. There is a comprehensive menu, and at lunch, there are lighter options such as jackets/sandwiches if you would rather a lighter bite.Lovely selection on the main menu, including vegetarian, I didn't check for vegan (apologies). We chose the Homemade steak and onion pie, with a very short, buttery shortcrust pastry, which was delicious. Choice of new or mashed potatoes or chips. We didn't have a pudding this time, but they did look delicious when they went past!I would recommend and would definitely go back.

We met good friends here for a catch up, drinks and an evening meal. It exceeded our expectations in all respects which made for a really enjoyable evening after a long time apart. The welcome was warm and genuine. The food delicious and reasonably priced and the service excellent. If this pub was on wheels I'd tow it to the end of my street. Shame it's not so will be going back. Thanks

An unexpected delight. We got a very warm welcome as we walked through the door. A choice of 3 real ales from different breweries and a varied menu. We had Bangkok Bad Boy burgers (vegan but we aren't) and they were a very nice alternative to meat. Good food and drink, lovely staff, excellent pub that we will return to.

Had an evening meal here with friends and brought the dog along as we were staying at a nearby campsite. Very friendly and welcoming pub - good choice of food/drinks including vegan and gluten free. Nice atmosphere although it was a busy Saturday evening. Parking is limited but nearby streets are ok. Would visit again !

Had a lovely meal here yesterday. My fillet steak was cooked to perfection. My husband had pie of the day. Which was full of meat and not all pastry. The pub has a warm friendly atmosphere with great service. We will definitely be going back.

When I booked I informed them we were celebrating as it was our honeymoon, when we got there there were loads of banners for couples birthdays, anniversaries which were supplies by the pub, I was a bit disappointed that we had nothing plus no congratulations which was a shame! Food was really nice though!
