Food undercooked and inedible, we were served uncooked fish and chips which we had to request to be re-done, new was brought out 40 minutes later and was still raw batter. Gave me bad stomach cramps and was really disappointing quality of food for a nice village setting. Some of the outdoor tables were in such a bad state they looked dangerous. Wouldnβt recommend.

It was 6pm on a Saturday evening and we wanted food but the place was full and we had no booking. So we sat down for a drink anyway and within 10 minutes (and without us asking) they had shuffled the bookings round to accommodate. We enjoyed delicious food, value for money and for service beyond the call of duty, the Greyhound Inn is worthy of a 5 star rating. This is why some places are busy, others are not

Friendly staff, great beers and a good selection of meal options. Really enjoyed our 2 visits but be warned, portions are huge so you may want to skip the starter π

Excellent pub. Nice warm open fire to warm up next to after riding there on my Vespa on a cold day. Great food and drink highly recommended

A friendly old school pub, with good food and beer. It's our local for one week every year. It looks like they've held some good parties over the years! Two ales on the bar at the moment, Doom Bar and Ghost ship.

A lovely traditional quaint pub, with a cosy friendly atmosphere and a gorgeous open fire. Staff are all really friendly, and the food is excellent! The pub welcomes dogs too!

Ambience good, most of our party enjoyed their food. My chilli was insipid and, despite me mentioning twice that I wanted no dressing of any sort, the salad was soaked in dressing. I had had a long drive, and was too tired to complain. I ate some fries from someone elses meal, and left nearly all mine. Warm, but bland & lacking in taste.

Came here after seeing the seals nearby. Meals were delicious and great value - I had a lamb shank from the Christmas menu and it was great, I would assume regular Sunday roasts are just as good. I would suggest ringing to reserve a table though as they were quite busy. People who worked here were very friendly too!

I'm sorry to say this was the worst meal I've ever been served. How it was allowed out of the kitchen with the over cooked vegetables and a watery sauce is beyond me. BUT I had to up them to 2 stars because the puddings were nice (we stayed because the children's chips were fine and we had no food at the holiday cottage) and the staff were friendly. My husband preserved through his pie. A picture of the remains is provided, I wish I'd thought to photograph mine before sending it back to the kitchen.
