Hong Kong in North Norfolk

Had a really nice takeaway from the Hong Kong Chinese in Hemsby. The food was tasty, the vegetables were fresh and the portion sizes were just right. We had mixed vegetables, vegetable rice, sweet and sour chicken balls, king prawn curry and Singapore fried rice. Friendly service and speedily prepared for a Saturday night. Would strongly recommend.

Ordered for collection at 7.15 .... hubby is currently still in there waiting for food at 7.40.... several people have been in since and ordered and left..... Will not use again

We've regularly visited Hemsby over the last couple of years on holiday but have never really strayed from the standard fish and chips if we needed to have take away. Decided on Chinese tonight and really glad we did! Great Chinese, really tasty food. Highly recommended 😊

Asked for chicken balls, when I got back to chalet they had cut a crispy chicken in strips. The ones you can buy two in a packet for a £1.00.couldn't believe it. Also saw a lad getting food from fridge, no apron, no gloves, holding food in his hands.

I paid 6.60 for spare ribs in sauce and they were nothing more than 7 bones with fat on them in hardly any sauce.Chow mein had 4 small prawns.The chips are always overdone and soaked in fat, terrible service from the staff at the counter.

Waited for ages just to realise they had forgot my order.Special fried rice very bland and the rice was not fluffed up.Singapore chow mein smelt and tasted like cigarettes, disgustingChicken balls. Standard fine.Wouldn't recommend.

Normal range of Cantonese food. 15 minute wait for order on a quiet Wednesday evening. Nice portion sizes. Good chunky pieces of meat and vegetables in the dishes. Very tasty food. Dishes do NOT come with chips or rice like many other Chinese takeaways. Double check your change as young assistant taking orders seems to lack basic mathematics skills!
